A/N. Hey guys! I’m writing this on the go, so expect it to not be edited. Typos, punctuation, grammar mistakes, etc. might be in place. Sorry about that… Hope you’re enjoying the story so far! Any comments on it would be awesome! Happy reading! Kisses!
This morning, after another round of slaps and kicks because of me, we had breakfast. First breakfast ever with my wife. She had a light meal with some fruits, a latte and a couple of cigarettes. She said that’s her breakfast in general as the tension until lunch with work and all makes her throw up.
We are now in my car, going to the place where they set the competitions, which is three hours from here. My parents went first after I had followed Selena in the bedroom and had the shower scene and such. I would have taken the plane, but I want to study her more and be with her. And which place is best to keep her for a longer time without options to escape or avoid me than the car. Smart, right? In the car with us are Justin and Rick, but we are in a black limousine and there’s a privacy window between front seats and back ones. For the moment it’s opened as she requested.
She calls her dad. “Daddy? Did you take your pills this morning? Yeah? Good. Is mom okay? Did she take her meds? Did you take her blood pressure? And how was it?” she closes her eyes at this point. “Okay. Daddy? Give her some water. She needs it to help the blood pressure. Did she eat? Yeah… I’m okay… Don’t worry about me…” she throws demon eyes at me. I want to take her free hand in mine, but she slaps it away.
“Dad? Mr. Rippletok has paid. The money is in the bank. I’ll call Philip to authorize the payment to you when you reach the bank. Yeah. I’ll call Michael. No. Don’t you sign that contract! Do you hear me? It’s not favoring us, dad.” She rolls her eyes and sights. “For once can you listen to me? You put hard money into my ass to go to Law school to have a personal advisor! Just listen to me! No. Dad? Yeah! Do you have the contract in front of you?” she closes her eyes. “Page 12 and 36 were with problems. They need authorization from the local city hall. Yeah. They don’t have it. Yeah. And call the architect. The foundation plans aren’t complete. I’ve printed them last week. They are on my desk on the left side under the brown file.” She opens her eyes.
I’m surprised to see how knowledgeable she is. And how many details she has in her mind without looking on anything. She’s like me. She should have been a billionaire too. She speaks with her dad like nothing happened last night between them. She’s same caring daughter to both of them.
“I printed those too. Yeah. On my desk. Ask Henry to help you with those. Do you need anything else from me? Okay. Oh! Don’t forget to tell the accountant not to freak out. I bought some expensive clothes with the company’s credit card. Shit! The receipt is in New York. Yeah, yeah. Just tell her I’ll have her outbreak and tell me how we should proceed. Alright. I’ll call Michael and Philip. Bye dad. Love you too. Bye.”
“Baby?” she doesn’t look at me but she’s calling one of the men.
“Yeah, what?” she has her phone at her ear now, not looking still.
“Look at me.” She looks at me.
“What do you want?” she looks back straight in front of her. “Yeah, Michael? I need you to go to the bank. Take dad too. I don’t want him to drive. He’s not feeling well and don’t want him to have an accident. Pay the workers. Yeah, now. How’s the situation on the site? OK. Next time don’t call mom for work problems. Call me. I know I was in New York, but I clearly told you that you need to report to dad or me. Leave mom out of this. I know, I know. When?” she plays with her hair now.
“Yeah, I told him I’ll call him around 1 pm today to see if we can meet. I have a change of plans and I can’t go. You call him and tell him I’m having a new client on my head and I’ll speak with him the following days. Tell him to send me plans, budget and deadline. A draft of contract too. I’ll look on those and will see from there. Yeah. Eh, he wants some extensions in the back. Yeah. No, no. Don’t make promises. He’s a slack on budget. We don’t make much profit on those. Yeah. OK. If there’s anything, you call me. Leave dad out too with problems for today. He’s tired. I’ll answer at any time, don’t worry. Alright. Bye. I fucking hate when he goes on such low prices! That’s why he was sweet on the phone yesterday. Motherfucker.” She searches for another phone number, still not looking at me, like I don’t exist there.
“Selena?” I force her to look at me taking her chin with my hand. She’s so irresistible. Even her intelligence is sexy and adorable.
“What do you want?! Don’t you see I have work to do?! Jeez!” she shoots me with fire.
“I closed my phone to spend time with you. If I can do it, you can too. Please.” I have a soft voice. You don’t want to provoke the demon Selena I know by now is.
“Then open it and do your work. Stop being lazy. We have nothing to talk about. Better make more millions. Actually, at your level, I think minutes equals millions. So, stop losing money for nothing. I don’t have people to work for me as you do. I’m multifunctional. Now, let me work and stop interrupting me. I married, not died.” She goes back to her phone after giving me yet another cold shower. She’s the mirror of me. Just different genders.
“You don’t have to work for money anymore baby. I have enough for everyone.” I go for her hand. I need her touch on mine. She slaps it away.
“Those money are yours. Not mine. I haven’t worked for them. I’ll never take your money. I’m an independent woman and I’ll continue to be one. I don’t make billions, but I manage. I don’t want to hear from you some day that you gave me money, or I ate your money or things like that, to get back on me for whatever reason. No, thank you. I’m one that doesn’t want to depend and be mocked over that. I have my balls. They’re inside, not hanging like yours. And if you don’t like this, just rip off that marriage contract and we’re done. Now, shut it and let me resume my work. You’re not my owner.” Justin grins at us in the rear mirror. Don’t make me kill you Justin.
“Hey, Philip! Bad time? Yeah. What? Congrats! Boy or girl? Aww! Godmother? Sure, why not! How’s Eveline? I miss her too. Yeah. I’ll send you guys a baby gift as soon as possible. Can’t wait to see the little one! Aww! You don’t have to give her my name. OK.” Her face is bright like emanating from an Angel. My angel. She plays with her hair again.
“You call me on that, and I’ll make sure I’ll have my agenda free.” She giggles. “Yeah. Can you authorize for me the money in the bank? I’ll have dad and Michael come over. Yeah. OK. Thanks. Love you too. Kiss Eveline from me. Bye!” she laughs like a high school girl. “Little Eveline. Aww!” she browses through her emails. “Not accepting my resignation? Are you all there Derek? Fuck!”
“I’ll call him, don’t worry. He’ll understand.” I put my hand on her thigh.
“No. Did you guys send another contract?” she’s asking me. Finally, I have her attention.
“Take your hand off me! What’s this Eric?!” she shows me her phone. I have no idea.
“Let me see.” I take the phone and look. “I don’t recall sending that or ordering it.”
“It has your signature on it! Are you blind?! For what did I work last week? Huh? For this? Why the fuck didn’t you say something yesterday morning?! Oh! I know why! You were buzzed by your fucking dick! Jeez! I fucking hate you!” I roll my eyes. I haven’t signed that. For real.
“Justin?” I take Selena’s phone against her will. “What’s this? I don’t recall it but has my signature on it. I never sign something and not remember.” He takes it and looks himself.
“It’s the alteration from architecture. You ordered new sidebars and remodeling on the exterior that do affect the new marketing concept. Still, this was sent a week ago by our guys. Don’t understand why she received it now. The mail is from Marta. It’s not our Marta.” I take the phone back and give it to Selena who is thinking, moving her eyes from right to left and back.
“No, she didn’t! I’ll kill her!” She takes the phone and makes a call. I close the window between us and the boys, with a smirk.
I take her phone and throw it on the floor. “What are you doing?!” she’s going for the floor to take it. I love you baby. I grab her and kiss her.
“I love you when you’re angry.” I kiss her. “I love you when you’re bossy.” Another kiss. “I love you when you dismiss me.” Another kiss. “I love all of you.” I kiss her passionately leaving her perplexed, having her in my arms. I feel complete with her. Nothing lacks for me if she’s with me.
Eric got to see a part of her daily routine. She didn’t give up on her duties though she had serious health problems, him over her and all. He gets to know more of Selena. So? How was it? What do you think comes next? Hope you enjoyed it! 🙂 <3
Can’t wait to see your comments! <3 Love you all! See you in the next chapter!
